کمتر کسی را می توان یافت که در حوزه مدیریت منابع انسانی و رفتار سازمانی تحصیل کرده باشد و نام پروفسور مالکولم هیگز نویسنده کتاب مشهور Sustainable Change: Leadership That Works او را که یکی از پرفروش ترین کتاب های حوزه مدیریت و رفتار سازمانی است، نخوانده باشد (برای مطالعه و مشاهده ۹۵۵ کتاب و مقاله علمی و پژوهشی که بر اساس این کتاب نوشته شده اند، اینجا را کلیک کنید). او همچنین نویسنده یک کتاب مشهور و مرجع مهم برای دانشجویان کارشناسی ارشد و دکترای مدیریت مالی با نام Management Development Strategy in the Financial Sector است که از سوی موسسه Springer (منتشر کننده کتب مرجع دانشگاهی بین المللی) چاپ شده است و خود به تنهایی در بیش از ۱۳۷۰ مقاله مرجع و بین المللی به عنوان منبع مورد استفاده قرار گرفته است.

پروفسور مالکولم هیگز اکنون در آستانه ورود به هفتمین دهه حیات پربار خود است. او از سال ۲۰۱۱ تا ۲۰۱۴ ریاست مدرسه بازرگانی دانشگاه سات همپتون را بر عهده داشته و در حال حاضر به عنوان استاد راهنمای دوره های Post PhD و استاد مدرس دوره های PhD دانشگاه سات همپتون در گرایش رفتار سازمانی و تغییر و تحول سازمانی مشغول تدریس و تربیت اساتید دانشگاهی نسل آینده است. علاوه بر این، وی به عنوان یک استاد عمگرا تمرکز ویژه ای را بر تربیت دانشجویان در مقاطع MBA و DBA مدرسه کسب و کار دانشگاه سات همپتون انگلستان داشته و در حال حاضر به تدریس دورس رهبری، مدیریت تغییر، رفتار سازمانی، هوش هیجانی، مدیریت تیم و توسعه فردی می پردازد.

او معمار ساختار جدید HSBC بانک در هزاره جدید محسوب شده و طراح و برنامه ریز تغییر و تحول سازمانی بزرگترین بانک بریتانیا بوده است. وی در سال ۲۰۱۰ از سوی انجمن مدیریت بریتانیا به عنوان برترین استاد دانشگاه های بریتانیا انتخاب گردید و در سال ۲۰۱۲ از سوی آکادمی مدیریت کشور ایرلند به واسطه پژوهشهای بنیادین در حوزه رفتار سازمانی مورد تقدیر قرار گرفت. وی از سال ۲۰۱۲ عنوان استاد ارشد  British Psychological Society را نیز اخذ نموده است. پروفسور مالکوم هیگز به عنوان سردبیر و عضو شورای سردبیری دو نشریه مهم بریتانیایی Journal of Change Management and Team Performance Management نیز فعالیت می کند. وی در دانشگاه های Henley Business School (وابسته به دانشگاه Reading انگلستان)، دانشگاه آمریکایی بیروت و دانشگاه اراسموس اتحادیه اروپا نیز به عنوان استاد میهمان نیز حضور دارد.

پروفسور مالکولم هیگز استاد مدعو و عضو افتخاری هیئت علمی مدرسه کسب و کار بن ژیوار

پروفسور مالکولم هیگز در سومین دوره کنفرانس بین المللی پژوهشهای نوین در مدیریت، اقتصاد و حسابداری که در ۲۵ اسفند ماه ۱۳۹۴ به کوشش موسسه بین المللی کارین و میزبانی دانشگاه بین المللی Istanbul Zaim University ترکیه در شهر استانبول، با حضور پروفسور کریستین انیو از دانشگاه ناتینگهام، پروفسور محمود ساعتچی و دکتر بابک بهبودی به عنوان اعضای کمیته علمی این کنفرانس بین المللی برگزار می گردد،  به عنوان عضو رئیس کمیته علمی این کنفرانس حضور خواهد داشت. (وی در سال ۲۰۱۵ در اولین دوره این کنفرانس به عنوان رئیس کمیته علمی کنفرانس حضور داشته اند و ریاست دور دوم این کنفرانس که در تاریخ ۱۵ دسامبر ۲۰۱۵ به میزبانی دانشگاه ناتینگهام انگلستان برگزار کردید بر عهده پروفسور کریستین انیو بوده است)
